TUPPERWARE BRANDS COLLABORATES WITH DREAMWORKS ANIMATION
It started off with “Shrek 3” Tupperware merchandise in 2007. We had sandwich keepers, tumblers and snack cups (see above picture) all imprinted with characters from Shrek 3. It had a huge launch and was a total success, which paralleled the success of the movie itself. Tupperware Brands then went on to promote the limited release range of Kung Fu Panda, also another blockbuster movie by Dreamworks in the summer of this year! We had a full range of Kung Fu Panda sandwich keepers with its holographic design, tumblers (the ones with the seals and spouts were a huge success) and One Touch Canisters. Totally sold out! I mean, who didn’t love the cute clumsy panda called Po in his quest to become a Kung Fu master. Po and the other characters of Tigress, Viper the snake and Monkey were all depicted on the Tupperware tumblers.These is from my collection:
And the latest release in November 2008 was the Madagascar – Escape 2 Africa movie range of tumblers, sandwich keepers, snack cups and bento boxes. A lot of them got grabbed because they really made great Christmas presents late last year. Of course the Lifetime Guarantee does not cover the imprints on the containers. But that’s ok, just make sure you wash the Tupperware containers with soap and water but don’t use any abrasive material to scrub on the surface of the imprints. That should make them last! Look at the one touch canisters below in the Madagascar range.
