yeah it doesn’t take long to get the veggies tender. They come out tender but firm.

I learned from being in the kitchen with my grandmothers, mom, & aunts. I didn’t really appreciate it then, but I do now : )

That is so true! I have that tip on my blog. It makes for a more creamier pasta.

Love this! That is so creative and time saving!!! Are the vegetables tender when you cook them on the skillet for those few minutes?

You go girl…You could also freeze the alfredo sauce in a ice cube holder instead of mixing it with veggie and chicken. Great Video as alway!!!!!

Thanks so much!! You can let it cool a bit before freezing if you prefer. If I’m flash freezing something really heavy like a lasagna I will let it cool slightly just so that it doesn’t bother any of the other food in the freezer, but with this recipe and any other single layered items, I just take it straight from the stove to the freezer with no problem. Now you definitely don’t want to freeze or refrigerate hot food in a covered container (learned that the hard way with a loud explosion lol)

@TheStyleAficionado I thought the same thing about hot food going into the fridge. Love this recipe(all of them), but iffy about that
