Tupperware Rock N Serve

Posted by admin on May 25, 2009 in Rock N Serve, Tupperware Tips, Tupperware microwave |

A fantastic Tupperware microwave product. Can you imagine, in this age where we are so caught up in ‘busyness’ we still have great tools to help us save time! What an efficient way to cook something, store it in the fridge or freezer, then when you are ready to eat, just reheat it in the microwave. And since it is such a beauty, you can straightaway serve it at your dining table! This is what the Tupperware Rock N Serve was designed for.
The current colors are chilli red in some countries. Ours are in fuchsia (the seal) with clear bases so you can actually see what’s inside. It is also virtually unbreakable even though it looks like glass.I like how they design the little feet at the bottom corners of each base so that optimum air flow can circulate. This also causes the food to freeze easily in the fridge and heat up evenly in the microwave. So you save energy as less electricity is used.
Then there is the patented air vent that you click to open when you are heating the Tupperware Rock N Serve container  (seal is still on tightly). In a way, it lets the hot steam to be released but at the same time prevent food from splattering all over the inner walls of your microwave. If the pre cooked food is from the freezer, use the defrost setting first for a few minutes, then switch to reheating. Once you have reheated the food, leave it to stand for awhile and do not close the vent immediately.
Afterwards, just carry it over to the dining table using the wide handles that stay cool even though the food is hot inside.
The Tupperware Rock N Serve comes in different sizes (from 600mls to 1.5L) to meet your needs – mostly rectangle and round shape. Apart from being microwave friendly, it is also safe to use in the fridge, freezer and dish washer.
