Tupperware FridgeSmart

My old personal Fridgesmart Tupperware range from early 2000 was a dark green base with white seals but now they come in sheer white bases so you get to see what’s inside your containers. The seals come in different colours like blue, aqua green, purple and yellow.
I love the fridgesmart Tupperware for their ‘noses’, yup I that’s what I call the patented air vents! These unique air vents can be clicked to open and close, thus controlling how much air flows through your containers depending on your food items’ needs. Read more…

Tupperware products are backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty, making these products a lifetime investment for the customer. It exceeds the standards imposed by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Japan Poly-Olefin Hygienic Association.
The products were designed for normal home use, not commercial use. The Limited lifetime Tupperware Warranty covers Cracking, Warping, Peeling and Chipping under normal domestic use for the lifetime of the product. However, it does not cover rat and insects bites, Stains, Melting, Impact damage, loss of prints, discolouration or Cuts and Scratches). Prints such as the measurements on your Mix n Pour or the pictures of Cartoon Characters on the children’s range are not covered either. Tupperware Ice Tups - Recipes

This is the product that I’m sure all kids love the most (because mine do!) -the Tupperware Ice Tups. Especially so for my girl who is allergic to cow’s milk protein so buying ice-cream off the shelves are a no-no. So mum decided to make her some ice cream and today, I want to share some recipes that I have collected. As you can see, most of the recipes have milk in them, for me I just replace them with non-dairy milk like rice milk or oat milk… my kid still enjoys the ice cream!

Tupperware - Not just another plastic

Can the Tupperware plastic material be dangerous? Are the chemicals in plastics a danger to human use? There are chemicals in plastics called additives that makes the plastic more resistant to elements such as sunlight, water, other chemicals, heat and bacteria. There are also other chemicals which are called impurities that unintentionally exist in these plastics. These additives can leach out of the plastic into food that we put in these containers. However, the leaching rate depends on the molecular size of the chemical, the temperature and the length of time the food is exposed to the plastics. Read more…
